Individualised training courses
The courses are tailored to the learnerʼs needs and level, whether beginner or advanced. They are designed to support the learner throughout the learning process, to promote employability and integration into the professional biomanufacturing sector.
Contents of a training course
Each course consists of several interactive, immersive learning modules that meet specific educational goals. The modules are of different types: digital (e-learning, serious games or virtual reality) and practical (in virtual reality or on the sites of the various partners of Campus Biotech Digital).
Immerscio.bio offers learners the opportunity to personalise and adjust their learning according to their professional needs and objectives.
Range of training courses on offer
Thirteen courses will be offered by Immerscio.bio to cover the entire spectrum of bioproduction and biotechnology professions, from designing the biomedicine to supplying it to the end client. Immerscio.bio runs training modules ranging from cell culture to purification and from the cold chain to quality control, together with new occupations such as data analyst.
These courses are adapted to the wide variety of learners: current and future professionals and graduates looking to move into bioproduction.
- Bioproduction Environment
- USP in cGMPs
- Fill & Finish in cGMPs
- DSP in cGMPs
- Quality Control in bioproduction
- Data Integrity in Healthcare industry: all steps up to product batch release
- Upstream and Downstream bioprocesses development and industrialization
- Supply chain management – Logistics activities from production to patients
Environment of the BioProduction factory
The first modules cover the fundamental concepts of bioproduction, the conditions for accessing an industrial aseptic environment, and appropriate behaviors. Learners then benefit from a virtual application to anchor this knowledge in concrete terms. Subsequent modules focus on the more technical aspects of data integrity and digital technology.
USP (Upstream Process) in cGMPs
This course trains participants to master the key USP (Upstream Processing) stages of organic production in compliance with cGMPs, including the use of equipment, working in a controlled atmosphere, in-process controls and data integrity. Participants will learn how to identify techniques, manage impacts and guarantee quality while ensuring safety and compliance.
Fill & Finish in cGMPs
This course covers topics ranging from raw material handling to final packaging, including formulation, sterile filtration, aseptic filling and quality control testing. It also explore current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and offer hands-on experience on filling and packaging lines. The course concludes with a final assessment to measure mastery of the skills acquired. This comprehensive program combines e-learning, virtual reality and serious games.
DSP (Downstream Process) in cGMPs
The training aims to develop participants’ autonomy in conducting DSP (Downstream Processing) processes in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs/cGMPs). It covers an overview of bioproduction, behavior in an industrial environment, viral clearance, equipment cleaning, in-process controls and data integrity. Practical modules and a final assessment complete the learning process.
Quality Control (QC) in bioproduction
Initially, the learner will be given an overview of Quality Control in the healthcare sector, and more specifically in bioproduction, followed by a more detailed look at the various analytical specialties: microbiology, physico-chemistry, immunology, virology and molecular biology. The different types of tests in each of these specialties are explained, using application modules. The learner will then be able to deepen this knowledge on the different pillars of viral safety, efficacy testing and finally the validation of analytical methods, before carrying out the final evaluation test.
Data Integrity in Healthcare industry: all steps up to product batch release
The course develops the skills needed to guarantee data integrity in all bioproduction functions, ensuring quality and compliance. Modules cover the basics of data integrity, its practical implementation, the validation of computerized systems and its application to batch release. Practical case studies allow participants to test their knowledge in an inspection context. A final assessment validates participants’ knowledge. Delivered entirely via distance learning, this course offers flexibility and accessibility.
Upstream and Downstream bioprocesses development and industrialization
The program covers the fundamentals and practical case studies of USP and DSP process development, with particular emphasis on Quality by Design, technology transfer methodology, and new innovative trends in bioproduction. It prepares learners to solve industrialization and operational challenges by addressing key concepts and case studies. Training is hybrid, mainly distance learning, with a virtual reality activity. A final assessment validates the skills acquired.
Supply Chain Management – Logistics activities from production to patients
The course provides the essential skills to effectively manage the bioproducts supply chain, from logistics to temperature-controlled transport and storage. It covers best practices for receiving, storage, shipping and quality deviation management, while integrating optimization and risk management strategies. Participants will learn how to qualify transport and storage modes and implement continuity plans.
